24 Hour "Total Solution" Service!
As a rider myself, I realize that when your bike suffered a roadside failure, either from a mechanical breakdown or an accident, you were probably headed somewhere!
Dropping you off at a repair center may get your bike off of the road, but it doesn't offer a total solution. You may be stranded there if your bike cannot be repaired immediately. You might not have a way way to arrange for a ride on short notice.
Bike Tow doesn't say goodbye when your bike is unloaded from my truck. If you were on your way to work, or home, or wherever, I will do my best to help you complete your journey! If I cannot offer a ride at that time due to a need to respond to another service call or some other prior obligation, I will make arrangements for you to reach your destination.
That may mean I'll call a cab for you, or take you part way to rendezvous with a spouse, or even call one of my trusted friends to give you a ride when your friends aren't available and all other options have been exhausted.
The cab of my truck is designed for two people, one passenger and myself. Occasionally, I respond to a roadside call where two people need a ride, or even THREE when the bike is equipped with a sidecar! I do have room for two passengers, but it is a small cab. In situations where the comfort of my passengers is compromised, I will arrange for a cab or another vehicle to transport you folks while I take your bike to it's destination.
Cash, Check or Credit Cards Accepted!
Some towing companies insist on cash payment for services rendered. Customers have relayed horror stories of other companies who state, "I want to see $300.00 in CASH when I arrive, or I'm not going to load your bike!" Well! Who carries that sort of cash with them while out on a pleasure ride?
Bike Tow accepts any legal form of payment including VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, business and personal checks, money orders and cash. If necessary, we can track down an ATM machine or a local branch of your bank, assuming they are open for business. I will also bill shops that are willing to add your towing bill to their repair order. There is never any additional charge for using a credit or debit card.
If you have an insurance company, and your policy covers towing, I may send the bill to your adjuster, however I will need to contact that person to secure a claim number, the agent's name, the company name, the policy number and such, so that I can follow up on payment by mail.
No 'Gotcha!' Charges, EVER!
Bike Tow doesn't play the 'Gotcha!' game. My rates are the same, whether you receive service during the day, night, weekend or even holidays! You'll never hear me say, "Aw, it is after 7:00 PM. I'm gonna have to charge you an 'after hours fee' or 'Gosh, it is Super Bowl Sunday. I'm gonna have to charge you double...'
I use a P.C. and GPS in my truck to calculate the cost of the tow. You will know exactly what your total cost will be, including any storage, out of way miles, overnight holds, extra stops or additional services before you incur any charges.
FREE Short Term Storage - Up to 5 Days!
Bike Tow is unlike any other towing service. I know there are times when you need your bike picked up, even though it cannot be dropped off that day, or even the following day. Perhaps the shop is closed, or it is a holiday weekend. Maybe you are leaving town, or need it picked up the night before because of a scheduling conflict.
OTHER towing companies charge fees for this. Overnight fees, Impound fees, Second load fees and other charges are added to your bill by these companies.
Bike Tow NEVER charges for short term storage of your bike. If I pick you bike up on a Friday night, and it cannot be delivered to the shop until Tuesday morning, you will ONLY be billed for the service call, and the total loaded miles driven to deliver it. This may include some additional "out of way" miles that I must travel to take your bike to Vista for storage before delivering it to it's destination. ALL mileage is calculated using the shortest possible distance, even if I take a longer route to get there!
Jump Starts, Fuel Delivery, Tire Inflation!
Maybe you don't need a tow at all. Did you leave your light on too long? Are you out of gas in the middle of nowhere? Does your tire have a 'slow leak' that prevented you from riding to a repair shop yourself? Bike Tow will respond to your location and get you going again. You will only be charged for a service call.

Bike Tow cannot be everywhere. When you call me for a tow, and I cannot respond in a reasonable amount of time, I will refer you to one of my competitors, so that you are not kept waiting! They occasionally do the same, using me to get their customers off of the road when they cannot provide prompt service. We are 'friendly' competitors.
If your mobile phone receives text messages, I will send a SMS message with the phone numbers of other businesses that specialize in motorcycle towing and transport. Otherwise I'll just read them off to you, assuming you have the means to write then numbers down or store them in your phone. These men are also able to move your motorcycle without damage. I just happen to believe that I do it better!
I will then follow up with another phone call to make sure you have been taken care of, so you are not left sitting on the side of the road for hours on end.
